Territori e Italianità showed up for the first time in 2020, organizing an online event dedicated to tourism projects born in different Italian regions, told live from the living voice of the protagonists.

In recent years, it has grown as a community of professionals and realities, operating on the Italian territory, who already share experiences, principles, methods and goals. The goal is to actively act on the Culture of Hospitality, which does not coincide with tourism, but is its prerequisite.

It presents a model of economic development that aims tobring out the best professional energies and values scattered throughout our territory, starting with the inland areas, on which Territori e Italianità wishes to operate as a mobilizer of energies, with the aim of enhancing their social capital.

Aim: To draw the interest of diverse professionals working to regenerate local communities, with the intention of collaboratively enhancing employment opportunities in the places where they belong.

Workshop on the Culture of Hospitality in Inland Areas

The annual event of Territori e Italianità, since 2023, has multiplied, taking the form of workshops with a regional character, thus bringing itself even closer to the local realities of which it is a supporter and spokesperson.
In fact, the need to reach in an increasingly capillary way the territories of the internal areas, which represent, in the light of our values, the “greater” Italy, is increasing.
For this reason, thanks to our ecosystem of local partners, the CTT™ – Territorial Tourism Coordinators – we make ourselves facilitators, organizing an agenda of Workshops with a regional character, in realities that have chosen to invest in skills for an increasingly conscious growth.

vision

We envision a “world” capable of recognizing theinterconnectedness of relationships as a fundamental value that should always be kept at the center of common attention.
Territori e Italianità proposes itself as a useful and valuable resource to trigger this change.
Territori e Italianità arises both from the vision of a near future, in which the common good represents the attitude, motivation and inspiration capable of guiding human beings in their actions, and from the need to take action in the first person to restore value to local communities.

mission

The positive energy of actions, which lies in doing to think. To contribute to the realization of the world we would like, we have built a method. It is a three-dimensional and fluid business model, capable of uniting “people” who are, first and foremost, “tourism professionals.”
Their mission is to help unite other people: local administrators with each other and those active in individual areas, as also citizens, with each other.

“Historic centers are increasingly experienced as a “problem.” An object of protection to be tackled with an urbanistic edge […] This research volume brings together a plurality of voices to offer readers an in-depth and multidisciplinary look at the role, meaning and identity of historic centers in the 21st century. In an age marked by rapid and often disruptive transformations, rediscovering the soul of historic centers means rediscovering a balance between roots and vision, between past and possibility, in the sign of the Italian way of life and the new frontiers of Italian-ness that faces the challenges of globalization, social liquidity and overtourism.”

A collaborative research by Marialuisa Angelone, Daniela Cavallo, Anna Maria Corrado, Roberto Crosti, Elisabetta Del Soldato, Maurizio Di Marco, Gaia Ferrara, Ignazio Garau, Virgilio Gay, Giulia Lascialfari, Patrizia Lupi, Paola Rizzitelli, Maurizio Rosellini, Giovanni Antonio Sanna, Gori Sparacino and Andrea Succi, edited and introduced by Federico Massimo Ceschin.

“The new book presents the expertise of the scientific committee of STCC – Sustainable Tourism Competence Center. It is a pact with Italy still stubbornly considered “minor.” It is a framework of values and, at the same time, a model of tourism sustainability that pivots on local communities, the gentle provincial dimension and rural and productive excellence. The hinterland is, for the authors, the ideal fabric for regenerating community experiences that restore a sense of belonging and perspective, contributing to local and regional development as well as to the competitiveness of the entire national tourism offer.”
